Reiki pronounced (ray-key) is a Japanese word that simply translated means 'spiritually guided life force energy'. It is the energy found in and around all living things. It is a gentle, non-invasive yet powerful method of healing that is given by gentle touch. This remarkable hands-on technique promotes relaxation and stress reduction. Reiki also enhances the natural power of the body to heal itself and compliments, supports and enhances all medical and other health care treatments. Reiki can be taught to anyone who is open and willing to work with this healing energy. There are four degrees/levels of Reiki practice, each having certain training techniques.

The use of the USUI POWER SYMBOL* is most often given to Reiki II students. We have been Guided and Approved to give our Reiki Students this Usui Reiki Power Symbol. In Reiki II students will be given the other two Usui Symbols: The Harmony Symbol and The Distant Healing Symbol.
